A 43-inch TV is roughly 37.5 by 21 inches, about 9.7ft around the edge. The six pieces add up to about 9.8ft of lit strip, so on a 43 they cover close to the whole outline and sit near the rim. A 65-inch set runs near 57 by 32 inches, almost 15ft of edge; there the pieces spread out, and the connector cables carry the gaps between them.

Each piece is about 19.7 inches long. On the bigger panels, space them evenly around the frame so the gaps fall in the middle of each edge, where the halo blends across them. On a 43, work close to the rim; if the TV sits on a stand, one piece can leave the bottom edge and light the furniture top instead.
Because the kit is modular, it is not tied to a TV. The same six pieces can line a monitor, the underside of a floating shelf or the back of a cabinet, run from any USB port.
Twenty-eight moving modes and 16 million static colours sound like a lot, and they are, but most evenings come down to a handful. The 24-key RF remote puts the favourites a thumb away, while the duoCo Strip app handles fine colour picks, the timer and music mode. The 3-button controller on the USB lead is the fallback when both go missing.
