WEBUPAR Dreamcolor Acrylic Car Lights

The six bars do the headline work. Each uses what WEBUPAR calls a two-in-one fibre design: an LED strip behind a clear acrylic light guide, so light spreads evenly instead of starting bright at one end and fading. 593 LEDs sit behind the set, split across these lengths:

• a two-second hold switches everything off

1. Lay out every piece on the seats and match each light to its controller.
2. Pick a home for the master controller under the dash, within reach of 12V power.
3. Fit the dash bar and console bar, pressing them into the trim seams.
4. Route a slave controller and its cables into each door, leaving slack at the hinge.
5. Add the door-pocket lights and under-dash lights, then test everything before closing panels.

Cable routing decides how neat the result looks. Tuck leads under the edges of carpet and behind kick panels, away from seat rails and pedals. Where cables pass into a door, a gentle loop lets the door swing without pulling on a connector.

Cutting a bar is permanent, so mark it against the seam before trimming, and cut only when sure. Door panels vary between cars, and the 29in bars may need shortening on a compact hatchback while fitting a full-size truck as they come.

Worth knowing before you start:

• The kit weighs 0.69kg in total, light enough that clips and trim hold it.
• Nothing needs splicing into factory wiring for a basic install.
• Check how your 12V source behaves with the ignition off, so the lights cannot drain the battery overnight.
